John A. Perry

John Perry is a resident of Oklahoma. He is affiliated with Northern Oklahoma, Sooner and US Open Brittany Clubs. He regularly attends events held in OK, TX, KS, MO, IA, NE and AR. He has been a part of the Brittany Breed for 44 years and the ABC for 22 years. He is willing to attend the ABC BOD meeting in Booneville, AR.

He participates in Field Trails, Hunt tests, Futurity and shows. He has put titles on 16 dogs, and those titles include: RAFC, GRC, AFC, FC, JH and AM. FC.

John has held many positions in the regional clubs as well as the national clubs. Positions range from ABC director to the Nat. FT. Committee. Regional positions include President, VP, treasurer, FT Sec. Event chair and many others.

He has been in Brittany since 1980 competing in both AKC and AM. Field. He has campaigned not only his dogs but his friends as well. He states that throughout his club and field experience he has been willing to listen and mentor new people. He feels that directors need to represent the concerns of the membership of their region. John states that he recently retired from Amtrack where he was in management and his volunteer experience with local fire company in a leadership and mentorship role will help him with the role as director. He says he will continue to be an advocate for all the things the versatile Brittany can accomplish.

Niclaus “Nic” Taulai

Niclaus Taulai is a resident of Texas. He is affiliated with Alamo and Texas coastal Brittany clubs. He regularly attends events in TX. He has been in Brittany’s for 17 years and part of ABC for 11. He is willing to attend the ABC BOD meeting in Booneville, AR.

He participates in Field Trails, Shows, Rescue, Hunt Tests, Agility and Futurity. He is an AKC sweeps judge and AKC Agility Course Test Evaluator. He has put over 40 titles on his dogs, those titles include: MACH, PACH, CH and GCH.

Nic has held multiple offices including NSS Agility Trail Committee, Event Chairman, Event Sec, Club officer and Vice President.

He feels his work in law enforcement will help him approach matters with an open mind and help him to work with many people with different personalities. He is also active with several other breed and all breed clubs. He thinks that with his roots in agility give him a different perspective on dog club and events. He believes that the Brittany is first and foremost dual breed. He feels that things that make a dog a great bird dog also give them the qualities and skills needed to make them great in many venues.
