Jane Smith

Jane Smith is a long-time resident of Pennsylvania and an active member of the Anthracite Colorado Brittany Club, located in the East Coast region. She regularly attends events in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Arkansas. Jane has been involved with Brittanys and the American Brittany Club (ABC) for 29 years. She is fully committed to attending the ABC Board of Directors meetings held in Booneville, Arkansas.

Jane actively participates in field trials, hunt tests, conformation shows, and Futurities. She is an AKC-licensed judge for field trials and has titled several dogs over the years. Her dogs have earned a range of titles including FC, AFC, AMFC, CH, and GCH.

She has held leadership roles in several regional clubs, including Anthracite and Eastern New England, as well as the ABC parent club. Her past roles include President, First Vice President, and Second Vice President. Jane has also served on multiple field trial committees, both as a member and as chair.

Jane brings a strong professional background in sales and marketing, which she considers one of her greatest assets. Her business acumen and ability to collaborate with a wide network of Brittany clubs and individuals make her well-suited for a directorship. She is dedicated to helping move the club forward and strengthening the leadership team of the ABC Board of Directors.

David Thompson

David Thompson is a lifelong Mainer and a dedicated member of the Central Maine Brittany Club. He is a familiar face at Brittany events throughout New England and regularly participates in trials and meetings across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. David has been devoted to the Brittany breed and the American Brittany Club (ABC) for more than 25 years.

He is deeply involved in field trials, hunt tests, and training seminars. As a seasoned handler and mentor, he has successfully trained and campaigned numerous Brittanys to titles in both field and conformation events, including FC, AFC, and CH distinctions.

David has held multiple leadership roles in his regional club, including Secretary, Treasurer, and Field Trial Chair. He also serves on the ABC Field Trial Advisory Committee, helping to guide national standards and practices.

With a professional background in forestry and land management, David brings a deep respect for nature and a practical mindset to the ABC leadership. His decades of hands-on experience with Brittanys, combined with a calm, collaborative leadership style, make him an asset to the board. He is passionate about preserving the heritage of the breed and ensuring the ABC remains strong and inclusive for future generations.

Lisa Monroe

Lisa Monroe lives in the foothills of Virginia and is an active member of the Northern Virginia Brittany Club. Her involvement with the Brittany breed spans over 18 years, during which time she has been a steady presence at events throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Lisa is a passionate advocate for responsible breeding, training, and competition within the American Brittany Club (ABC).

She actively competes in field trials, agility, and obedience events, and regularly volunteers at hunt tests and regional fun days. Her Brittanys have earned titles across multiple disciplines, reflecting her commitment to developing well-rounded dogs that excel both in the field and as companions.

Within her local club, Lisa has served as Secretary and Events Coordinator, helping to grow membership and improve outreach. She is also involved in youth handler programs and has mentored several junior participants who have gone on to compete nationally.

Professionally, Lisa works in education administration and brings strong organizational and communication skills to every project she undertakes. She believes deeply in collaboration, transparency, and preserving the legacy of the Brittany breed. Lisa is eager to bring new energy and inclusive ideas to the ABC Board of Directors and looks forward to serving her region with dedication and integrity.
