Garmin Shooting Dog Award

The Garmin Shooting Dog Award is presented to the top Brittany Shooting Dog in the country placing in 1 hr Open (horseback) events across the country. Points are tabulated beginning July 1 of the current year to June 30th of the following year. Owners winning the award are presented with a beautiful oil painting of the winning dog by artist Lawrence Snyder of Ponte Vedra FL. A Garmin sponsored dinner during the week of the National Gun Dog Championship is the time at which the portrait of the previous year winner is unveiled and the current year winner is announced.
