Shamrock's Missouri Magic

  This year's winner of the IAMS Eukanuba Brittany All-Age Award was Shamrock's Missouri Magic. He won it in the last hour trial of the sason over Tequila's Joker, on of the closest finishes ever. Mo is a seven year old white and orange male out of The Magic Moment by Rimarda's Trademark. As is often the case, good breeding showed through as TM won the IAMS Eukanuba Award in 1990 and Jenny came in second in 1987 and 1989. My congratulations to owner Wade Haines and his handler Chad Holman.
  While most winners garner some points in the National Open or Amateur, Mo did it by winning Southern Illinois, the Chicken Classic, and the Mid South as well as placements in the Prairie State, Central Arkansas, the Jim Holman Classic, and the Music City Fall Classic. This saw a record 29 hour stakes run, up from the 15 stakes that decided the 1986 winner.
  The IAMS Award presentation was again held during the National at Booneville, Arkansas. Roy Pelton was again on hand to mkae the presentation for the IAMS Company. Ross Young came down from Springfield with a painting of last year's winner Jim De Bob's Sparks A Dan D.
